Records Set, History Made at ArenaBowl XXVII

ArenaBowl XXVII may not have been the back-and-forth instant classic many fans had anticipated; however, numerous records were broken and plenty of history was made during the AFL’s latest championship game.
AN ELECTRIC ATMOSPHERE
The 18,410 fans in attendance at ArenaBowl XXVII represents the highest-attended game in Cleveland Gladiators franchise history, the second-highest-attended game in Arizona Rattlers franchise history and the fifth-highest-attended ArenaBowl in AFL history. SCORING AT WILL
Arizona’s 72 points in ArenaBowl XXVII represent the second-highest point total in ArenaBowl history. The Jacksonville Sharks hold the ArenaBowl record with 73 points against the Rattlers in ArenaBowl XXIV in 2011. The Rattlers also set an ArenaBowl record with 44 first half points and 30 points in the second quarter.
