CHICAGO – In a continued
effort to provide the most fan-friendly professional football
entertainment throughout the world, the NET10 Wireless Arena Football
League announced today the establishment of a Fan Advisory Council.
“The Arena Football League has some
of the most passionate fans in all of sports,” AFL Commissioner Jerry B.
Kurz said. “It’s important that they continue to let their voices be
heard. Their input is critical to the continued success of our sport.”
Members of the Fan Advisory Council
will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, opinions and feedback on a
range of topics and issues relating to the well-being and advancement
of Arena Football. The Council will feature a fan “executive board” as
well as fan representatives from every AFL market. Meetings will be held
on a regular basis through conference calls in which members will be
empowered to share their opinions and perspectives, as well as develop
recommendations for changes and improvements while representing the
interests of AFL fans around the world.
Those interested in applying for
consideration for the Fan Advisory Council can do so by filling out a
short questionnaire on ArenaFootball.com. The application can be found here.
