Ty Rimmer was superb between the pipes for the Quad City Mallards, as he did not allow a goal in a 2-0 victory over Rapid City.
Quad City was paced by Matt Boyd, who tallied one goal and one assist. Boyd scored 5:32 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Quad City. Gabriel Levesque provided the assist.
