Huge game by Reeder boosts Rapid City over Wichita, 6-3

Rapid City's Konrad Reeder had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 6-3 win over the Wichita Thunder.
Reeder scored 50 seconds into the third period to make the score 3-3. Jesse Schultz picked up the assist. Reeder dished an assist on Winston Day Chief's goal that made the score 4-3 Rapid City at 10:28 into the third period. He added another helper on Schultz's goal that made the score 5-3 Rapid City at 19:06 into the third period. Rapid City stifled Wichita's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Rapid City outdid its season average for goals scored. Rapid City averages 3.6 goals per game. The 36 shots that Rapid City put on net surpassed Rapid City's average of 32.5 shots per game this season.
Rapid City also got points from Schultz, who also registered one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Rapid City included Scott Wray, Justin Faryna, and Kyle Stroh, who scored one goal each. In addition, Rapid City received assists from Riley Weselowski, who had three and Jared Brown, Eric Giosa, Justin Sawyer, Keaton Hartigan, and Matthew Larke, who contributed one a piece.
The Thunder average 26.3 shots on goal per game, but only sent 21 pucks on net against Rapid City.
Wichita was helped by Jared Walker, who had one goal. Walker scored 12:38 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Karl Linden provided the assist. Wichita also had goals scored by Matt Robinson and Andrew Martens, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Wichita were Mike Wilson, Ian Lowe, Matt Summers, and Garrett Gruenke, who each chipped in one.
Rapid City's Hartigan stopped 18 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Rapid City incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Taylor Nelson made 30 saves for the Thunder on 35 shots. Wichita incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
