SHARKS: The Jacksonville Sharks upset the Orlando Predators last weekend with a 55-33 win that sent them to their fourth Conference Championship appearance in the last five seasons… The Sharks edged out the Philadelphia Soul in the regular season, 2-1, handing them two of their three regular season losses in 2015 but have never beaten Philadelphia in the playoffs, losing in the conference title game to the Soul in 2012 and 2013…

QB Tommy Grady completed 29-of-37 passes for 291 yards receiving and threw five touchdowns without an interception last week… He also rushed for a score against the Predators…
He ranks 10th in AFL history in career passing yards (27,489) and eighth in career passing touchdowns (607)… Grady has passed for 834 yards, 21 touchdowns and has thrown two picks in three games combined against the Soul this year…

FB Derrick Ross rushed for 19 yards on nine carries and scored twice last week… He broke a streak of two consecutive games without a rushing touchdown in the quarterfinal… He earned First Team All-Arena honors after this season upon setting new single-season Jacksonville records with 586 rushing yards and 33 rushing touchdowns – both AFL-highs – this year… He is the Soul’s all-time leading rusher with 1,660 yards and 103 touchdowns during his three-year tenure with the team (2012-14)…

WR London Crawford led the Sharks with 13 catches for 135 yards receiving last week in his playoff debut… He caught four passes for 38 yards receiving and a score against the Soul in Week 17…

OL Moqut Ruffins was selected First Team All-Arena for the first time in his career this season…

DE Joe Sykes did not record a statistic last week… He was named First Team All-Arena after notching AFL records with 18.5 sacks and 10 forced fumbles in 2015…
He ranks third in AFL history with 53.5 career sacks… Sykes has collected five tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and two pass break ups against Philadelphia this year…

DE Richard Berry tallied 1.5 tackles and half-a-sack last week… He last opposed the Soul in Week 17 when he logged two tackles in the win…

SOUL: The Philadelphia Soul will head to their third conference championship game in four seasons after defeating the Cleveland Gladiators, 47-35, in the AFL Quarterfinals… The Soul have represented the American Conference at the ArenaBowl in three of the last four years… The Soul suffered three losses in 2015, with two coming on the road in Jacksonville… Philadelphia won their most recent postseason meeting with the Sharks, 75-59, in 2013…

QB Dan Raudabaugh completed 16-of-28 passes for 190 yards and four touchdowns with one interception in last week’s win… His passer rating in the win was 98.81; he failed to put together a triple-digit passer rating once in 18 regular-season starts… He earned First Team All-Arena accolades for the first time in his career after setting single-season franchise records with 4,992 passing yards and 119 passing touchdowns in 2015… His 119 passing touchdowns are the third-most ever by an AFL quarterback in a single season… Raudabaugh ranks 10th in AFL history with 515 career passing scores… He has played in 92 consecutive regular season games, the longest active streak in the AFL… He has thrown 860 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and tossed four interceptions in three games against the Sharks…

FB Tommy Taggart rushed for 26 yards and a score on eight carries last week… He also caught two passes for 22 yards in the win… His 103 rushing attempts in the regular season were the 10th-highest single-season total in AFL history…

WR Marco Thomas hauled in a pair of passes for 36 yards and a touchdown against the Gladiators… He was named Second Team All-Arena upon setting a new single-season franchise record with 155 catches in 2015, the 10th-highest single-season total in AFL history… Thomas has racked up 291 yards receiving and five scores against Jacksonville in 2015…

WR Shaun Kauleinamoku led the Soul with 108 yards receiving and three touchdowns on eight catches against Cleveland… He has compiled 139 receiving yards and three scores in two games against the Sharks this season…

WR Ryan McDaniel caught four passes for 24 yards last week… He has caught a touchdown pass in each of his last nine games going back to the regular season… McDaniel has totaled 293 receiving yards and nine touchdown catches against Jacksonville…

DE Bryan Robinson collected two tackles, broke up a pass and tallied a quarterback hurry against the Gladiators… He was named Second Team All-Arena after leading the Soul with nine sacks in 2015… He ranks 10th in AFL history with 42.5 career sacks… Robinson has 5.5 tackles, 1.5 tackles for losses, against the Sharks…

DE Teddy Jennings notched a sack last week… He has collected six sacks in the final six games of the regular season… Jennings forced a fumble and recorded a tackle in Week 17 against the Sharks…

MLB Beau Bell recorded a pair of sacks, broke up two passes and forced a fumble in the win last weekend… He has a sack in four straight games played, going back to the regular season… Bell has collected 6.5 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in two games against Jacksonville – he missed the teams’ most recent contest…

JLB Joe Goosby broke up a pass and made one tackle in the quarterfinals win… He forced a team-high five fumbles in 2015… Goosby tallied 4.5 tackles and three pass break ups against the Sharks this year…

DB James Romain made five tackles and broke up a pass against Cleveland… He was named First Team All-Arena for the first time in his career after finishing the regular as the Soul’s leader with 10 interceptions and 29 pass breakups… Romain recorded 11 tackles and broke up three passes against the Sharks in 2015…

DB Kent Richardson made two tackles and broke up a pass against the Gladiators… He was placed on injured reserve on 8/1/15… He collected eight tackles, a fumble recovery and a pair of pass break ups in two games against Jacksonville this year…

DB LaRico Stevenson led Philadelphia with eight tackles, including one for a loss, and two interceptions last week… He finished the regular season as the Soul’s leading tackler, logging 82 this year… In three games this season, Stevenson recorded 14.5 tackles and two pass break ups against the Sharks.
