Brampton completes comeback, beats Missouri, 4-3

Undaunted by a two-goal deficit, the Brampton Beast battled back to claim a 4-3 victory over the Missouri Mavericks.
Brampton never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Beast was down 3-1 after a goal by Missouri's Mike Ramsay at 5:03 in the second period. Brampton knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Scott Howes at 1:15 in the third period. The Beast netted the game winner at 6:03 in the third period on a goal by Howes.
Howes had a great game for Brampton, netting two goals.
The Mavericks were unable to stop the Beast from sending pucks towards the net, and Brampton eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.
Brampton additionally got points from Steve Ward, who also registered one goal and one assist. Brampton also got a goal from Jason Pitton as well. In addition, Brampton received assists from Tylor Michel, Matt Caruana, Frank Littlejohn, and Jamie VanderVeeken, who each chipped in one.
Missouri relied on a core group of players for most of its offense, as Ramsay, Trevor Kell and Andrew Courtney took 24 of the team's 41 shots.
Others who scored for Missouri included Eric Castonguay and Evan Vossen, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Missouri were Dave Pszenyczny, Jeff Buvinow, Obi Aduba, Sebastien Thinel, and Colt King, who contributed one each.
Grant Rollheiser made 38 saves for the Beast on 41 shots. Brampton avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of two power plays. Shane Owen rejected 30 shots on goal for the Mavericks. Missouri incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
