St. Charles shrugs off penalties, upends Allen, 5-2

The St. Charles Chill, which found themselves down a man often, weathered the Allen Americans' power play opportunities and emerged with a 5-2 victory.
St. Charles was paced by John Snowden, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Snowden scored 15:43 into the second period to make the score 3-2 St. Charles. Michael MacIntyre assisted on the tally.
The Chill forced their penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up nine minors and one major for 23 minutes in penalty time.
